My wife Kathy and I love to travel; we’ve enjoyed hospitality destinations ranging from 4 star hotels, boutique hotels, bed and breakfast, vacation rental to campgrounds.
When we are looking at a place to visit we look for the best value, the best experience; sometimes paying an extra $15 a night is money well spent.
The problem with vacation rentals from Vacasa, AirBnB, VRBO, Booking etc is they nickle and dime you to death. We travel with a dog, so we expect a pet fee; fair enough, pet dander requires extra effort in cleaning. But administrative fee, management fee, agent fee, homeowner fee, cleaning fee, even, get this, hot tub fee, make that low, low, price grow to an astronomically high number.
At The Clipper Inn, and The Admiral’s Quarters, we don’t do this. Yes, there is a pet fee for our pet friendly room and there is tax. Outside of that, the price we quote is the price you pay.
